Z-Perspective Co., Ltd. Privacy Policy

Z-Perspective (hereinafter referred to as “Z-Perspective”) complies with the “Personal Information Protection Act” and related laws to protect the freedom and rights of information subjects, and processes personal information lawfully and securely. In accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, we establish and disclose this privacy policy to inform information subjects of the procedures and standards for processing personal information and to promptly and smoothly handle related complaints.

Article 1 (General Provisions)

① Z-Perspective makes the privacy policy available on its website for easy access by information subjects.
② This policy may change at any time due to changes in government guidelines or Jet Perspective’s policy changes.
③ In the event of a revision to this policy pursuant to Paragraph 2, we will notify information subjects of the new policy on this website, so we recommend that you visit and check it regularly to protect your valuable personal information.

Article 2 (Purpose of Collection, Items Collected, and Retention Period of Personal Information)

① In unavoidable cases such as compliance with legal obligations and entering into contracts with information subjects, personal information may be processed without the consent of the information subject.
② Z-Perspective obtains consent from information subjects and processes personal information as follows, and information subjects may request withdrawal of consent at any time.

Article 3 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

① Z-Perspective processes the personal information of information subjects only within the scope specified in Article 2 and provides personal information to third parties only with the consent of the information subject or under special provisions of the law.
② Z-Perspective shares the collected information among collection entities with the consent of the information subject.

Article 4 (Criteria for Additional Use and Provision)

① Z-Perspective may use or provide personal information without the consent of information subjects in accordance with Article 15(3) and Article 17(4) of the Personal Information Protection Act and Article 14-2 of the Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.
② When conducting additional use or provision without the consent of information subjects, Z-Perspective considered the following factors:
a. Whether to provide better services to information subjects or realize positive values equivalent thereto
※ especially in cases where initial integrated benefits are provided, such as providing platform usage rights.
b. Whether the purpose of additional use or provision of personal information is related to the originally collected purpose.
c. Whether there is predictability regarding additional use or provision based on the circumstances of collecting personal information or processing practices.
d. Whether additional use or provision of personal information unduly infringes on the interests of information subjects.
e. Whether measures such as pseudonymization or encryption are taken to ensure safety.
③ When using or providing personal information additionally according to Paragraph 1, we will add them to the items for third-party consent specified in Article 3 and notify accordingly.

Article 5 (Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing)

② When entering into outsourcing contracts, Z-Perspective specifies matters such as the purpose of processing personal information beyond the performance of outsourced tasks, prohibition of personal information processing, technical/managerial protective measures, restrictions on re-outsourcing, management/supervision of contractors, and compensation for damages according to Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act in documents such as contracts and supervises whether the contractor handles personal information safely.
③ If the contents of the outsourced tasks or the subcontractor change, we will announce it in this policy.

Article 6 (Destruction of Personal Information)

① Z-Perspective promptly destroys personal information when it becomes unnecessary due to the expiration of the retention period for personal information or achievement of the processing purpose.
② If personal information must be retained pursuant to other laws despite the expiration of the agreed retention period or achievement of the processing purpose, we transfer the personal information to a separate database or store it separately.
③ The procedure and method of personal information destruction are as follows:
1. Destruction Procedure: Jet Perspective selects personal information (or personal information file) for destruction, establishes a personal information destruction plan, and obtains approval from the personal information protection manager of Z-Perspective to destroy personal information.
2. Destruction Method: Z-Perspective destroys electronically stored personal information to make it irrecoverable, and paper documents containing personal information are shredded or incinerated for destruction.

Article 7 (Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Collection Devices for Personal Information)

① The company uses “cookies” to provide individualized custom services to users by storing and occasionally retrieving usage information.
② Cookies are small pieces of information sent by the server (http) operating the website to the user’s computer browser, and they may be stored on the user’s PC hard disk.
a. Purpose of Using Cookies: Cookies are used to understand the usage patterns of users visiting each service and website, popular search terms, secure connection status, etc., to provide optimized information to users.
b. b. Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Cookies: You can refuse to store cookies by setting the option in the Tools > Internet Options > Privacy menu of the web browser.

① Z-Perspective collects and uses behavioral information to provide users with personalized product recommendation services (including advertisements) based on users’ interests and preferences.
② Z-Perspective collects behavioral information as follows:
a. Items of collected behavioral information: User website/app service visit history, search history, purchase history
b. Method of collecting behavioral information: Automatically collected when users visit websites and apps
c. Purpose of collecting behavioral information: Providing personalized product recommendation services (including advertisements) based on user interests and preferences
d. Retention and use period and subsequent information processing methods: Retained for 365 days from the collection date and disposed of after 1 year of retention.
③ Z-Perspective allows online personalized advertising operators to collect and process behavioral information as follows:
– Advertisers authorized to collect and process behavioral information: Mariana Global Co., Ltd., Junto Co., Ltd.
– Method of collecting and processing behavioral information: Automatically collected and transmitted when users visit our website or run our app.
Items of behavioral information collected and processed: User website/app visit history, search history, purchase history, etc.
Retention and use period: 365 days
④ Z-Perspective collects only the minimum behavioral information necessary for online customized advertisements and does not collect sensitive behavioral information that may clearly infringe upon the rights, interests, or privacy of individuals, such as beliefs, family relationships, academic or medical history, or other social activity records.
⑤ Z-Perspective does not collect behavioral information for customized advertising purposes from online services where the primary users are children under 14 years of age or who are known to be under 14 years of age. Additionally, Z-Perspective does not provide customized advertisements to children known to be under 14 years of age.
⑥ Z-Perspective collects and uses advertising identifiers for online customized advertisements in mobile apps. Users can block or allow customized advertisements in apps by changing the settings on their mobile devices.
⑦ Users can block or allow online customized advertisements universally by changing cookie settings in web browsers. However, changing cookie settings may affect the use of some services, such as automatic website login.
⑧ Users can contact the company’s personal information protection department to inquire about behavioral information, exercise their right to refuse, and report damages related to behavioral information.

Article 8 (Notification of Personal Information Validity Period)

① Z-Perspective will transition the accounts of online information subjects who have not used the service for one year to dormancy and separately store the personal information in a separate database (DB) or different storage location. Separately stored personal information will be promptly destroyed after one year of storage.
② Z-Perspective notifies members scheduled for dormancy of the fact that their information will be stored separately, the date of dormancy, and the items of personal information stored separately, 30 days before dormancy, through a method that allows notification before the dormancy date.
③ If you do not wish for your personal information to be destroyed, simply log in to the service before the expiration date.

Article 9 (Rights, Obligations, and Methods of Exercising Rights of Information Subjects and Legal Representatives)

① Information subjects can exercise rights such as accessing, correcting, deleting, and requesting the suspension of processing of personal information from Jet Perspective at any time.
② Rights under paragraph 1 may be exercised by submitting a request to Z-Perspective in writing, via email, facsimile, etc., in accordance with Article 41 (1) of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, and Jet Perspective will promptly take action.
③ Rights under paragraph 1 may be exercised through a legal representative or delegate. In this case, you must submit a power of attorney in the form specified in Attachment 11 of the Enforcement Rules of the Personal Information Protection Act.
④ The rights to access and request suspension of processing under paragraph 1 may be restricted under Article 35 (5) and Article 37 (2) of the Personal Information Protection Act.
⑤ Requests for correction and deletion of personal information cannot be made if the personal information is specified as a collection target by other laws.
⑥ When exercising the rights of information subjects, such as requests for access, correction/deletion, and suspension of processing, Z-Perspective verifies whether the requester is the individual in question or a legitimate representative.

Article 10 (Measures for Ensuring the Security of Personal Information)

Z-Perspective takes the following measures to ensure the security of personal information:
1. Administrative measures: Establishment and implementation of internal control plans, operation of dedicated organizations, regular checks on relevant legal and policy changes, etc.
2. Technical measures: Management of access rights to personal information processing systems, installation of access control systems, encryption of unique identification information, installation and updating of security programs, etc.
3. Physical measures: Access control to computer rooms, data storage rooms, etc.

Article 11 (Personal Information Protection Manager and Department for Receiving Requests for Access to Personal Information)
Z-Perspective is responsible for overseeing personal information processing and designating a personal information protection manager and department to handle complaints and remedies related to personal information processing. Article 12 (Remedies for Rights Infringement)

① Information subjects can apply for dispute resolution or counseling regarding personal information infringements through the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee, Korea Internet Security Agency Personal Information Infringement Reporting Center, etc. For other reports or counseling related to personal information infringements, please contact the following agencies:

Article 13 (Changes to the Personal Information Processing Policy)

This personal information processing policy will be effective from November 20, 2023. Changes to this policy due to additions, deletions, or corrections according to laws and policies will be notified through announcements at least 7 days before the effective date of the changes.
